The publicity committee updates the website, calendar, and social media with current information. They advertise section activities, take photos at events, and publish the monthly newsletter.

Awards Committee

The awards committee determines awards available to our local section and its members. They write and submit awards on behalf of our section and also helps with individual awards.

Outreach Committee

The outreach committee seeks and organizes outreach events with local organizations such as Girl Scouts, Girls Inc Tarrant County and SWENext. They keep inventory and budget of all outreach supplies as well as coordinate professional and collegiate volunteers. They also plan the Senior Send-off for our graduating collegiate members of DFW.

The social activities committee arranges all monthly meeting locations and organizes the Holiday Social and End-of-Year Banquet.

Finance Committee

The finance committee coordinates fundraising activities throughout the fiscal year, oversees any scholarship activity, and maintains inventory of the FWSWE Boutique.

Membership Committee

The membership committee maintains contact with new members and potential new members as well as attempts contact with inactive members. This committee also works with the social committee to plan events specific to recruitment.
